Raw Material
The locational advantage of our presence in the northeast is immense, allowing us access to incomparable raw material from the sustainable, natural, tropical forests of the region. We carefully select timber exclusively from the Dipterocarpacae species comprising Gurjan, Hollong and Makai sub-species. In comparison to plantation grown species such as Eucalyptus, Poplar and Malabar Neem, the age and girth of mature hardwood timber of the Dipterocarpacae family allows for flawless face material with no visible knots or gaps, and seamless long panel cores with high dimensional stability and superior mechanical properties.

To empower our channel partners with the ability to spot a genuine National product from a counterfeit, we have devised a complex system of marking and stamping of our products that we educate our distributors and dealers about, and are constantly updating to reduce imitation. Our block boards are also marked with specialized computer printing. Additionally, we provide customized guarantee cards with each brand of product to further establish authenticity.
As for our customers, we are one of the first few companies in the country to provide an easy-to-use tool that allows them to immediately identify the authenticity of our product. Each National product is stamped with a customized hologram called a Uniqolabel that can be scanned in three simple steps to identify a genuine National product. This ensures that when you purchase National, you can be rest assured of dependable service and a durable product.
